DROM

Drom means «path». It is a pilot programme to prevent school absenteeism and make sure every child has access to quality education. We run it in schools in Málaga, working directly with families, teaching staff and social services.

The programme has three phases:

• Detection and analysis of the causes of absenteeism, with a personalised plan for each child and their family.
• Direct intervention: workshops, motivation activities and training for families.
• Evaluation and ongoing follow-up to measure progress and adapt our strategies.

In October 2026 the mothers taking part visited the Universidad Europea to share their concerns about education and their wish for their children to have more opportunities.
