Socio-educational Support for Romani Women
A yearly programme of training, educational guidance, employment advice and recognition of Romani women, ending with the Reconociendol@s awards.
2024–2025
With the support of Málaga City Council, this yearly programme combines training and educational guidance, mentoring for young people, employment advice (CVs, interviews, agreements with companies) and the «Una Mirada Diferente» campaign.
Each cycle ends with Reconociendol@s at the Botanical Garden of Málaga, where we give awards to our students and recognise the people and organisations who walk alongside us.
Results
- 2024: 8 women obtained their secondary school certificate (ESO)
- 2024: guidance for more than 20 people in post-compulsory education
- 2025: 10 secondary school certificates and 7 admissions to intermediate vocational training
- 2025: mentoring for more than 25 young people and employment training for 12 women
- 2025: the Reconociendol@s awards brought together more than 180 people
